"In the midst of winter I found there was, within me, an invincible summer" Albert Camus

The exhibition "In the midst of winter there is an invincible summer" is a kind of development of a theme that excites me and which focuses on the relationship between living / non-living nature, indoor / outdoor space and the creative process as the connection between them.

The exhibition is a continuation of a project in development concerning the idea of utopian visions, imaginary or real spaces that reformulate and expand the thinking about reality. As well as an expression of my continuing interest in the subject of landscape - real or imagined, external or internal, possible or lost.

The presence of living plants in the exhibition refers to a variety of possible meanings relating to our relationship to nature as a living organism in an age of ecological instability and an increasingly tangible presence of AI  in our reality and related expectations or anxieties.

Apart from the symbolic meaning with which we burden them, plants are also present as living creatures that demand our attention.

The paintings in the exhibition is present more as a painting process than as final objects.

I am also attaching a short text to the exhibition, representing Chat GPT's answers to questions I have asked him on topics such as the relationship between human emotions, art, the creative process and other natural human processes
